Choosing a church home is one of the most important decisions a person can make. With so many options out there, how do you make that choice? We hope that you will find this site both informative and encouraging as you make that decision. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing fellowship. So, what can you expect to find if you choose to worship with us on a Sunday morning? Here are a few things to help answer that question:
Christ-Centered: Our church is centered around our belief in Jesus Christ. You will find this in the sermons that are preached and in the music that we sing Our belief in the Gospel helps us to know that we are all equally in need of a Savior and we all have been called to worship our great God. Bible-Believing: Our church also holds firmly to the belief that the Bible is God's perfectly revealed word to us. It is the foundation of truth and the ultimate authority for everything we believe and practice here at First Christian. We provide several opportunities to study God's word, including the main service on Sunday mornings as well as Sunday school and midweek studies for adults, youth, and children.
Fellowship: Whenever we gather together we engage in building relationships, centered around our common bond in Christ. There are many opportunities to get to know those that regularly attend this church including small groups, men's bible studies and women's bible studies, serving in ministry together and the frequent potlucks or cookie socials that take place after the Worship Service.
